The Kent Wool Shaving Soap comes in a bespoke dark oak shaving bowl, which speak to its rustic origins. Crafted by Mitchell's Fat Wool Soap for Kent, it was first produced in the 1930s when chemist Fred Mitchell saw how the natural wool lanolin content of wool fat made sheep shearers' and wool sorters' hands exceptionally soft. Contains a fern-like fragrance based around patchouli, lavender, pine, clove, nutmeg, cedar wood, sandalwood, vanilla, and musk. Refillable with K-SB2.

Extremely fine, compact and creamy, it allows a close shave and protects the skin leaving it soft and hydrated. Produced in small batches, with the hot saponification process, it is deposited in steel containers and kept for 10-15 days in an air-conditioned chamber. During this time the soap "matures" in a controlled and gradual manner to reach the right degree of humidity, structure and fragrance: the saponification reaction is completed by transforming the starting ingredients, oils, fatty acids and alkalis, into refined soap, no more traces of aggressive substances, perfect for respecting the skin and interacting with the hair structure. This slow and distinctive process makes the soap more effective in protecting the skin and smoothing the razor.
Enriched with Sandalwood Oil and Shea Butter, it also protects the driest skins against the aggression of the razor, making it easier to shave thick and hard beards.
