The Material - Steamed Ash
In this process it attains high resistance to water, the grain is accentuated and the wood takes on its brown colour. In order to preserve the naturalness of the surface, however, it is treated only with oil, not lacquered. This provides the wood with perfect protection against water and makes it particularly long-lasting.

The Material:
One of the most distinctive and rare materials, Karelian Masur Birch is grown in a small area of Karelia during mid-winter season. Harvested only when the ground is frozen, the harsh climatic conditions result in the low growth height of the Masur Birch which, in turn, produces the wood's characteristically rich grain.
Once picked, the square timbers are then shaped by turning. Only the finest quality Masur Birch is then further processed and stabilized during a special procedure. This procedure ensures the wood becomes hard-wearing and water resistant.
The use of natural material ensures that each product is unique, the handle's graining adding individual character to each brush, razor and set.
The Razor:
A real investment piece, the R55SR supersedes the need for single-use plastic.
