Design art at its best and a true classic: developed by SBB for the station in 1944, put on the wrist by Mondaine in 1986 as the Official Swiss Railways Watch. Since then, this watch is not a status symbol, but a statement. The linear design is inspired by the Bauhaus and stands for clarity and sustainability. Quite simply: the Swiss original.
All Mondaine watches stand for Swiss quality and watchmaking tradition. They are handcrafted in our factory in Solothurn, Switzerland. Every watch is tested there for water resistance to 30 meters and receives an international guarantee of two years.

The harmoniously shaped case made of polished stainless steel of the Mondaine Official Swiss Railways evo2 promises maximum wearing comfort. The iconic design of this classic watch is characterized by the easy-to-read dial, which is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The ergonomic red crown and the vegan red leather strap underline Mondaine's know-how. The latter consists of 75% plant-based eco-composite material and 25% recycled PET.
Since 2020, Mondaine Group (including all brands) is one of the first watch companies worldwide to be comprehensively C02 neutral for scope 1,2,3 of the GHG protocol through reforestation. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Assembled with up to 80% energy from our own photovoltaic system.
