The HEXAGON series, which was created in cooperation with the Berlin designer Mark Braun, is a nifty way to shave. The hexagonal design pays tribute to the archetypal shape of tools or writing instruments. It promises ergonomics, grip and functionality. Its sleek finish in graphite and forest is complemented by a puristic silver colour. The perfect contrast is ensured by the high-gloss, chrome-plated surfaces of the safety razor and holder. High-grade resin is a high-quality synthetic material, the surface of which is processed and refined separately. The material is ideal for exclusive accessories and writing implements because it facilitates a broad spectrum of modern and classical designs in many attractive colours.
To begin with, the aesthetic basic shapes for brush and razor handles are turned out of solid rods. Then each individual work piece is polished in several passes to give the surface its special gleam. This processing method lends the models a pleasant feel and secures their beauty for many years to come.

THE MATERIAL - Olive Wood
Since ancient times, olive wood has been valued for its outstanding material characteristics and warm colouring. It is to be found throughout the Mediterranean region and has been used for centuries to make durable goods or artistic objects.
The wood we use must be dried carefully for months before the handles are turned. We then sand the surfaces, seal them with oil and polish them to a silky finish. This brings out the gentle, honey-coloured grain of the wood particularly well.
