Materials: The pen is made from a mixture of coloured resin and basalt lava from Mount Etna, a well-known and precious Visconti material, using our secret formula. This new edition also has an anti-smudge treatment that prevents ink from settling on the pen while refilling.
Shades of colour: The process of mixing the basaltic lava with the coloured resin is very complex and makes this pen unique in its kind, characterizing it compared to the other editions of the Homo Sapiens family.
Craftsmanship: A long and meticulous manufacturing process gives Homo Sapiens Lava Colour those unique characteristics that distinguish it. The processing of the lava material is in fact very demanding and requires extreme precision.
