TRINIDAD Bidasoa 24K Gold Limited Edition Ashtray
This is a very rare, only 2000 pieces produced in 1998. These ashtrays were made for a three day event in La Habana in 1998 that signaled the introduction of the TRINIDAD brand of Cuban Cigars. The legendary Don Alejandro Robaina was the honoured guest that evening to a crowd of 500 cigar aficionados.
The 24 Karat Gold Trim is painted by hand. This ashtray has never been used, and is in it's original box. The ashtray is an authentic fully licensed by Habanos S.A. and made by BIDASOA in Spain, BIDASOA, who has been a reputable maker of fine porcelain since 1934.
The marking on the back of the ashtray reads " BIDASOA Spain Para Habanos S.A., Serie Limitada de 2000 unidades decorado a mano ORO de 24 Ktes". TRANSLATION:
"BIDASOA Spain, made for Habanos S.A. Limited Edition Series of 2000 unites, decorated by hand with 24 Karat Gold"

Escaparate Habanos Photograph Frame
This frame features the legendary photograph taken at the Partagas Factory in 2000.
Between making and packing, the cigars are taken to the conditioning room or "Escaparate". Here in cedar lined drawers, they are left to rest while they shed the excess moisture that was gained in the rolling process. They are meant to stay for minimum one week, however, the longer they stay there, the better.
The Escaparate room is often referred to as the "treasury". It is here that the wealth of a factory is stored. The cigars were stored in bundles of 50, known as media reeds, or "half wheels".
