In the chapter of the same name, Captain Nemo and his three companions dock on the island of Vanikoro, surrounded by an incredible barrier reef. It is in this latter that Captain Nemo introduces the Nautilus to the three passengers he has captured. He then reveals to them the motto of his submarine: «Mobilis in Mobile» or «Mobile dans l'élément mobile», a way to illustrate the movements of the submarine navigating at the heart of the largest "mobile element" on earth: the sea. Lighter Le Grand Dupont shiny blue lacquer with squid tentacle engraved in placed lacquer. Golden finishes. Mobilis decor in mobile.
