JUNGHANS MEISTER COLLECTION

When does a watch line deserve the title Meister? When it retains its fascination and shape for decades and when technology and design combine in a way full of character. Just like the mechanical watches of the Meister line, which were created from the 1930s onwards and experienced their heyday in the 1950s and 1960s. Numerous calibres were developed in Schramberg during this time. The most sophisticated were used in the Meister watches. From 1950 onwards, Junghans also manufactured wristwatch movements in chronometer quality and was already the third largest chronometer manufacturer in the world in 1956. This was followed in 1957 by the first self-winding chronometer calibre J83, one of the most beautiful of its kind in the world. The myth of the Meister lives on in our new models. They are a tribute to the design and technical achievements of these years.
